Certifications › NASTF Vehicle Security Professional (VSP)
The National Automotive Service Task Force is a non-profit founded in 2000 by the automakers and the independent repair industry, and its Vehicle Security Professional Registry vets and credentials professional locksmiths to access manufacturer security systems.
Getting credentialed means passing a background check and agreeing to strict terms, after which you're issued a personal Locksmith Identification (LSID) number assigned one-to-one to the individual.
This is legitimate, dealer-level access — it lets us pull the same secure key codes and immobilizer data the dealership uses, so we can make and program keys for virtually any make, the right way, as a vetted professional rather than a sketchy code broker.
