6-Month Key Warranty — We Stand Behind Our Work

Every automotive key and remote we program is backed by a 6-month workmanship warranty. If a key or fob we made fails because of a defect — it loses its programming, the buttons quit, the push-to-start or remote-start stops being recognized, or the key won't turn due to a faulty cut — we'll repair or reprogram it at no charge for parts or labor for six months.

What's covered

Programming / immobilizer recognition, remote and proximity (push-to-start) function, any remote-start we set up, the mechanical cut, and defects in the key or fob we supplied.

What's not covered

Lost or stolen keys; physical or water damage (dropped, run over, crushed, chewed, liquid); dead fob batteries (a normal wear item); and issues caused by the vehicle rather than the key — a dead car battery, faulty vehicle wiring or immobilizer, or manufacturer/dealer software updates that erase programming.

How it works

If a covered defect happens within 6 months, call us.

• If your vehicle can be driven, bring it to us and we'll fix or reprogram a covered defect free. If you'd prefer we come to you, that's fine — but a service-call fee applies.
• If your vehicle can't be driven, we'll come to you free for a covered defect, anywhere within our greater-OKC service area (about a 30-mile radius).
• Outside our service area, the defect is still covered but travel is not — we don't provide mobile service, reimburse another locksmith, or cover towing for vehicles more than ~30 miles out or out of town. You're welcome to bring it to us.
• A service-call fee applies and is not waived if we come out and the issue turns out to be damage, a dead vehicle battery, or not a key problem.
